Registration and Logistics

Registration Rates

  • Full-time Student (precollege, college) attendee: $35*
  • General attendee: $75

*2024-2025 NC Space Grant Fellows, Scholars, and NASA/Career Interns will receive complimentary registration. Community College Research and Team Competition participants will also receive a group discount for participation. All awardees will be emailed a special discount code to use upon checkout in the registration system.

Location

The NC Space Symposium will be held at NC State University’s McKimmon Conference and Training Center at 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, N.C.

Directions

Parking

There is ample free, public parking at the McKimmon Center. Please do not park in spaces indicating that a permit is required. We are not responsible for tickets or towing as a result of improper parking.

The McKimmon Center can be accessed by the NC State Wolfline Bus system and offers space to store a bike for those wishing to use alternative transportation.

In order to accommodate any special requests, please provide at minimum one week notice prior to the event.

Hotels

Please consider staying at a nearby hotel if overnight accommodations are needed. If you are a state employee, ask for the McKimmon Center rate or for the government rate. There is no specific hotel or conference block for the NC Space Symposium.
